What a busy yet fun morning! There are some very tired students heading home today...
I was posted at the 'Cross the Swamp' station and due to time and numbers I didn't get to see the whole class come through. Therefore not all kids are pictured, sorry.

Discovery fun!
Joshua and Dane spent 45 minutes (entire Discover time) today developing this marble run. They never gave up. It took great perseverance to complete it.

Rimu Hui Certificates and Discovery Time
I remembered to take a photo today of the Rimu certificates!
Well done to Maddie and Toryn for this week's awards.

Rimu 6 was open for home-made marble runs during Discovery today.
Awesome job guys!
Hungry mouths
We wonder how many hungry mouths these will feed. Well done to everyone at Papakowhai for collecting over 1200 cans!
Also, a big thank you to all our families in Rimu 6 for the 137 cans donated for this cause - Watties Cans for Good.
There is a prize for the class with the most collected, and... we won it!
Prizes and actual figures will be sorted early next week.
Some older students at school have also entered an art competition using the cans supplied by whanau. Check out 'Papakowhai Waves' below.

Ukulele Concert photos
Yesterday Mckenzie and Sophie performed as part of the Ukulele Club. They were spectacular on the mic, ukulele, kazoo and tambourine!
